A library taking shape
A new project, built with care.
Dar al-Hadith is still at the beginning of its journey. We are working hard to make reading, studying and checking hadith easier, one careful improvement at a time.
What we are working toward
A quiet place to read the collections in Arabic and English, follow references back to their editions, distinguish different scholars’ gradings, and keep your own study notes. Clear sources and readable text are central to this work.
Our creed and methodology
We follow the Athari creed and methodology. Our approach to this project is grounded in learning from the scholars and benefiting from their teachings with care and respect.
Scholars we benefit from
- Shaykh Fawzan
- Shaykh Rabee al-Madkhali
- Shaykh Abdulrazzak al-Badr
- Shaykh al-Albani
- Shaykh Zayd al-Madkhali
- Shaykh Ubayd al-Jabiri
- Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen
These are among the scholars whose teachings we benefit from, alongside many others.
What is still being improved
We are continuing to check imported text, align Arabic and English narrations, refine numbering and references, and improve the reading experience. Some entries may have missing text or grading information. Display and transcription mistakes can happen.
A missing grading does not mean a narration has been judged weak. It means no assessment is recorded here for that entry. The grading sources page explains the editions and coverage currently used.
Help us make the next correction
If you notice a problem, choose Report beside the relevant hadith. Explain what needs checking and, if possible, include the correct wording or a reference. Your message goes privately to the administrator for review.
We appreciate your patience and the time you take to point out mistakes. A report helps us investigate; changes still need to be checked against the sources.
Advice from students of knowledge
We welcome sincere advice from students of knowledge. If you would like to advise us or work with the project, please contact us. Tell us what you would like to help with and share relevant references or experience where useful.
Your advice and willingness to contribute are appreciated as we continue to develop the library.
Read with the sources in view
This website is a study aid, not a substitute for the source editions or qualified scholarship. Please verify important quotations and references before relying on them or sharing them further.
