English translation

1057. It was reported from Qatadah, from Abü Al-Malih from his father, that the Day of Hunain was a rainy day, so the Prophet ordered his caller to call out: "Pray in your tents." (Saiiz)

Arabic text

1057 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ يَوْمَ حُنَيْنٍ كَانَ يَوْمَ مَطَرٍ، فَأَمَرَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، مُنَادِيَهُ: أَنَّ الصَّلَاةَ فِي الرِّحَالِ "،
