English translation

1058. (There is another chain) from Sa'eed, from a companion of his, from Abū Malīḥ, that it (the Day of Hunain) was on a Friday. (Sahīh)

Arabic text

1058 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ، عَنْ صَاحِبٍ لَهُ، عَنْ أَبِي مَلِيحٍ، أَنَّ ذَلِكَ كَانَ يَوْمَ جُمُعَةٍ

Commentary

In the event of a heavy downpour on Friday making it difficult for people to go to Masjid, the Friday congregation may be skipped. Instead, they would have to perform Zuhr in their dwellings.
