Text and translation

English translation

1059. (There is another chain) from Abū Qilābah, from Abū Al-Malīḥ, from his father that he was present at the events of Al-Kadaibiyyah with the Prophet ﷺ, and it was Friday. It was raining, because the soles of their feet had not become damp. The Prophet ﷺ commanded them to pray in their tents. (Sahīh)

Arabic text

1059 - حَدَّثَنَا نَصْرُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ سُفْيَانُ بْنُ حَبِيبٍ: خَبَّرَنَا عَنْ خَالِدٍ الْحَذَّاءِ، عَنْ أَبِي قِلَابَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمَلِيحِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ شَهِدَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ زَمَنَ الْحُدَيْبِيَةِ فِي يَوْمِ جُمُعَةٍ وَأَصَابَهُمْ مَطَرٌ لَمْ تَبْتَلَّ أَسْفَلُ نِعَالِهِمْ، فَأَمَرَهُمْ أَنْ يُصَلُّوا فِي رِحَالِهِمْ "
