English translation

1065. Abū Az-Zubair reported from Jābir that he said: “We were once traveling with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ and rain started to fall. The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: ‘Whoever among you wishes may pray in his tent.’” (Sahīh)

Arabic text

1065 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْفَضْلُ بْنُ دُكَيْنٍ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، قَالَ: كُنَّا مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي سَفَرٍ فَمُطِرْنَا، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لِيُصَلِّ مَنْ شَاءَ مِنْكُمْ فِي رَحْلِهِ»
