English translation

1106. 'Ammār bin Yāsir narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ commanded us to shorten the Khuṭbah." (Hasan)

Arabic text

1106 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الْعَلَاءُ بْنُ صَالِحٍ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ، عَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِإِقْصَارِ الْخُطَبِ»
