1113. 'Abdullāh bin 'Amr narrated that the Prophet ﷺ said: "Three types of people attend the Friday prayer: A person who comes and commits Laghā (acts in vain), and that (action) will be his reward; a person who comes and supplicates to Allāh, so if (Allāh) wills, He will give him, and if He wills, He will not respond to him; and a man who attends it, remaining quiet and listening — he neither walked over a Muslim's back nor did he harm anyone. So (for this person) it will be an expiation (for all sins) until the next Friday, and an additional three days. This is because Allāh says: Whoever brings a good deed shall have ten times the like thereof.”[1] (Hasan)
