English translation

1137. (There is another chain) from Ḥammad, that Ayyūb narrated from Muḥammad, from Umm ‘Aṭiyyah, with this narration (similar to no. 1136). He (ﷺ) said: “And let the menstruating women avoid the place of prayer,” and he did not mention the garment. However, he narrated from Ḥafṣah from a woman, who narrated it from another woman who said: “It was said: ‘O Messenger of Allāh!’” Then he mentioned the meaning of what was narrated by Mūsā[1] about the garment. (Ṣaḥīḥ)

1137 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيَّوبُ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ بِهَذَا الْخَبَرِ قَالَ: «وَيَعْتَزِلُ الْحُيَّضُ مُصَلَّى الْمُسْلِمِينَ، وَلَمْ يَذْكُرِ الثَّوْبَ». قَالَ: وَحَدَّثَ عَنْ حَفْصَةَ، عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ تُحَدِّثُهُ عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ أُخْرَى قَالَتْ: قِيلَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ، فَذَكَرَ مَعْنَى حَدِيثِ مُوسَى فِي الثَّوْبِ.
