1268. (Another chain) from Sufyān: " 'Aṭā' bin Abī Rabāḥ would narrate this Hadīth (a narration similar to no. 1267) from Sa'd bin Sa'eed." (Hasan) Abū Dāwūd said: 'Abd Rabbih and Yaḥyā the two sons of Sa'eed, reported this Hadīth in Mursal form; that their grandfather Zaid prayed with the Prophet ﷺ, and he mentioned this incident.
1268 - حَدَّثَنَا حَامِدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْبَلْخِيُّ، قَالَ: قَالَ سُفْيَانُ: كَانَ عَطَاءُ بْنُ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ يُحَدِّثُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: «وَرَوَى عَبْدُ رَبِّهِ، وَيَحْيَى ابْنَا سَعِيدٍ هَذَا الْحَدِيثَ مُرْسَلًا، أَنَّ جَدَّهُمْ صَلَّى مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ»
