English translation

1282. Al-Mukhtār bin Fulful narrated from Anas bin Mālik that he said: "I prayed two Rak'ahs before Maghrib during the time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ." He said: "I said to Anas: 'Did the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ see you (doing this)?' He replied: 'Yes, he saw us, and he did not command us, nor did he prevent us (from offering it).'" (Sahih)
