English translation

1291. Ibn Abī Lailā said: "No one informed us that they saw the Prophet ﷺ pray the Duha except for Umm Hānī, for she narrated that the Prophet ﷺ performed Ghusl in her house on the Day of the Conquest (of Makkah), and then offered eight Rak'ahs. And no one else after that saw him pray them.” (Sahih)

Arabic text

1291 - حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى، قَالَ: مَا أَخْبَرَنَا أَحَدٌ أَنَّهُ رَأَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى الضُّحَى غَيْرُ أُمِّ هَانِئٍ، فَإِنَّهَا ذَكَرَتْ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ، اغْتَسَلَ فِي بَيْتِهَا، وَصَلَّى ثَمَانِيَ رَكَعَاتٍ، فَلَمْ يَرَهُ أَحَدٌ صَلَّاهُنَّ بَعْدُ»
