English translation

1334. It was reported from Al-Qāsim bin Muḥammad, from 'Aishah, that she said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would pray ten Rak'ahs at night, and make it odd (Witr) by praying one Sajdah (Rak'ah). Then he would pray two Rak'ahs of Fajr,[1] thus making it thirteen Rak'ahs." (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Commentary

Some narrations list the two Sunnah Rak'ahs of the Fajr prayer under the late-night prayer, the reason being that they were said early, after the Witr prayer. This makes the total number of Rak'ahs thirteen. See number 1339 as well.
