English translation

1423. Ubayy bin Ka'b narrated: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would pray Witr with: 'Glorify the Name of your Lord, the Most High'[1] and: 'Say to those who have disbelieved,'[2] and: 'Allāh; He is One and Unique.'"[3] (Sahih)

1423 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حَفْصٍ الْأَبَّارُ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ مُوسَى، أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَنَسٍ، وَهَذَا لَفْظُهُ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ طَلْحَةَ، وَزُبَيْدٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبْزَى، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُبَيِّ بْنِ كَعْبٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوتِرُ بِسَبِّحِ اسْمَ رَبِّكَ الْأَعْلَى، وَ {قُلْ لِلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا} [آل عمران: 12]، وَاللَّهُ الْوَاحِدُ الصَّمَدُ "،
