Text and translation

English translation

1435. Masrūq said: "I asked 'Āishah, when the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ would pray the Witr prayer. She replied: 'He would do all — he would pray at the beginning of the night, and the middle, and the end. However, in the later part (of his life) — when he passed away — he would pray (closer to) the time of dawn.'" (Sahīh)
