1453. It was reported from Sahl bin Mu'adh Al-Juhani, from his father, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: “Whoever recites the Qur'an and acts upon it, then his parents will be given crowns to wear on the Day of Judgment; the light (on these crowns) will be brighter than the light of the Sun in one of the houses of this world if it were among you. So what do you think (will be the rewards) of the one who actually did the act?” (Da'if)
1453 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ السَّرْحِ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانِ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيهِ، أُلْبِسَ وَالِدَاهُ تَاجًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ضَوْءُهُ أَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ فِي بُيُوتِ الدُّنْيَا لَوْ كَانَتْ فِيكُمْ، فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِالَّذِي عَمِلَ بِهَذَا؟»
