1606. Āishah narrated, while she was recollecting the incident of Khaibar: "The Prophet ﷺ would send 'Abdullāh bin Rawāhah to the Jews, and he would estimate their date-palms, after they (the fruits) had become ripe, and before they would be eaten." (Da'if)
1606 - حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ: أُخْبِرْتُ عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ عَائِشَةِ، رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا أَنَّهَا قَالَتْ وَهِيَ تَذْكُرُ شَأْنَ خَيْبَرَ: «كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَبْعَثُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ رَوَاحَةَ إِلَى يَهُودَ فَيَخْرُصُ النَّخْلَ حِينَ يَطِيبُ قَبْلَ أَنْ يُؤْكَلَ مِنْهُ»
