1720. Al-Mundhir bin Jarir narrated: "We were once with Jarir at Al-Bawāzīj, and the shepherd came back with the cows, but there was a cow that was not of the herd. Jarir said: 'What is this?' He replied: 'I found a cow, but I don't know whose it is,' Jarīr said: 'Take it out, for I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: "No one takes a lost animal except a misguided person."'" (Sahih)
1720 - حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي حَيَّانَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْمُنْذِرِ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ مَعَ جَرِيرٍ بِالْبَوَازِيجِ فَجَاءَ الرَّاعِي بِالْبَقَرِ وَفِيهَا بَقَرَةٌ لَيْسَتْ مِنْهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ جَرِيرٌ: مَا هَذِهِ؟ قَالَ: لَحِقَتْ بِالْبَقَرِ لا نَدْرِي لِمَنْ هِيَ، فَقَالَ جَرِيرٌ: أَخْرِجُوهَا، فَقَدْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «لَا يَأْوِي الضَّالَّةَ إِلَّا ضَالٌّ»

Bawāzīj Al-'Anbār is a region on the upper side of Baghdād. It was conquered by Jarīr, may Allāh be pleased with him.
