Text and translation

English translation

1779. It was reported from Abū Al-Aswad Muḥammad bin 'Abdur-Raḥmān Ibn Nawfal, from 'Urwah bin Az-Zubair, from 'Āishah, the wife of the Prophet ﷺ, who said: "We went with the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ during the year of the Farewell Pilgrimage. Some of us entered Iḥrām for Umrah, and some of us entered Iḥrām for Hajj and Umrah, and some of us entered Iḥrām for Hajj (alone). The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ entered Iḥrām for Hajj. So as for those who entered Iḥrām for Hajj, or combined between Hajj and Umrah, they did not exit the state of Iḥrām until the Day of Sacrifice." (Sahīh)
