English translation

1934. It was reported from Ibn Mas’ud, that he said: “I never saw the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ pray a prayer except at its proper time, except at Jam' (Al-Muzdalifah), for he combined between Maghrib and Ishā' at Jam', and the following morning he prayed Subh before its (usual) time.” (Sahih)

Arabic text

1934 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، أَنَّ عَبْدَ الْوَاحِدِ بْنَ زَيَادٍ، وَأَبَا عَوَانَةَ، وَأَبَا مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثُوهُمْ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ عِمَارَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ، عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ، قَالَ: «مَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى صَلَاةً إِلَّا لِوَقْتِهَا إِلَّا بِجَمْعٍ، فَإِنَّهُ جَمَعَ بَيْنَ الْمَغْرِبِ وَالْعِشَاءِ بِجَمْعٍ، وَصَلَّى صَلَاةَ الصُّبْحِ مِنَ الْغَدِ قَبْلَ وَقْتِهَا»
