English translation

196. Ibn 'Abbās narrated that the Prophet ﷺ drank some milk, then called for some water and performed the Maḍmaḍah. He then said: "It has fat." (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

196 - حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ عُقَيْلٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ شَرِبَ لَبَنًا فَدَعَا بِمَاءٍ فَتَمَضْمَضَ، ثُمَّ قَالَ: «إِنَّ لَهُ دَسَمًا»
