English translation

2035. (Another chain) from 'Ali, may Allāh be pleased with him, regarding this narration (as no. 2034), from the Prophet ﷺ, who said: “Its vegetation shall not be cut, nor will its game be molested, nor will its lost objects be taken — except by one who wishes to (take it) in order to announce it to others. And it is not permitted for a man to carry arms in it in order to fight. And it is not permitted for its trees to be cut, except for a man who wishes to feed his camel.” (Hasan)

2035 - حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي حَسَّانَ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ، فِي هَذِهِ الْقِصَّةِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لَا يُخْتَلَى خَلَاهَا، وَلَا يُنَفَّرُ صَيْدُهَا، وَلَا تُلْتَقَطُ لُقَطَتُهَا إِلَّا لِمَنْ أَشَادَ بِهَا، وَلَا يَصْلُحُ لِرَجُلٍ أَنْ يَحْمِلَ فِيهَا السِّلَاحَ لِقِتَالٍ، وَلَا يَصْلُحُ أَنْ يُقْطَعَ مِنْهَا شَجَرَةٌ إِلَّا أَنْ يَعْلِفَ رَجُلٌ بَعِيرَهُ»
