English translation
224. It was reported from Al-Aswad, from 'Aishah, that when the Prophet ﷺ wanted to eat or sleep, he would perform Wudū' - meaning while he was sexually impure. (Sahih)

224 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنِ الْأَسْوَدِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ إِذَا أَرَادَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ أَوْ يَنَامَ، تَوَضَّأَ» تَعْنِي وَهُوَ جُنُبٌ
