2240. It was reported from ‘Ikrimah from Ibn ‘Abbās who said: “The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ returned his daughter Zainab to Abū Al-‘Āṣ with their first marriage, and did not do anything again.” In his narration Muḥammad bin ‘Amr (one of the narrators) said: “...after six years,” Al-Hasan bin ‘Alī (one of the narrators) said: “...after two years.” (Da’if)
2240 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ النُّفَيْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الرَّازِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سَلَمَةُ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْفَضْلِ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، الْمَعْنَى، كُلُّهُمْ عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ الْحُصَيْنِ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: «رَدَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ابْنَتَهُ زَيْنَبَ عَلَى أَبِي الْعَاصِ بِالنِّكَاحِ الْأَوَّلِ»، لَمْ يُحْدِثْ شَيْئًا، قَالَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، فِي حَدِيثِهِ: بَعْدَ سِتِّ سِنِينَ، وَقَالَ الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ: بَعْدَ سَنَتَيْنِ
