2271. It was reported from Salamah, that Ash-Sh‘abī heard from Al-Khalil or Ibn Al-Khalil, who said: “A woman was brought to 'Ali, may Allāh be pleased with him, and she had given birth from three men." He narrated similarly, but he did not mention Yemen, nor the Prophet ﷺ, nor 'Ali's asking the other two to give up the child (to the third). (Da'if)
2271 - حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ، سَمِعَ الشَّعْبِيَّ، عَنِ الْخَلِيلِ أَوْ ابْنِ الْخَلِيلِ، قَالَ: أُتِيَ عَلِيٌّ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ فِي امْرَأَةٍ وَلَدَتْ مِنْ ثَلَاثَةٍ، نَحْوَهُ لَمْ يَذْكُرِ الْيَمَنَ، وَلَا النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، وَلَا قَوْلَهُ طِيبَا بِالْوَلَدِ
