2481. ‘Āmir said: “A man came to ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Amr while there were some people with him, so he sat with him. He said: ‘Inform me of something you heard from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ.’ He said: ‘I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say: “The Muslim is the one from whose tongue and hands the Muslims are safe, and the Muhājir (emigrant) is the one who abandons what Allāh has prohibited.”’ (Ṣaḥīḥ)
2481 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ أَبِي خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَامِرٌ قَالَ: أَتَى رَجُلٌ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَمْرٍو، وَعِنْدَهُ الْقَوْمُ حَتَّى جَلَسَ عِنْدَهُ، فَقَالَ: أَخْبِرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ سَمِعْتَهُ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: «الْمُسْلِمُ مَنْ سَلِمَ الْمُسْلِمُونَ مِنْ لِسَانِهِ وَيَدِهِ، وَالْمُهَاجِرُ مَنْ هَجَرَ مَا نَهَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ»
