2609. It was reported from Nāfi', from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurairah, that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "When there are three people on a journey, they should put one of them in charge of them." (Da'if) Nāfi' said: "We said to Abū Salamah: 'So you are our commander.'"
2609 - حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ بَحْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا حَاتِمُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِذَا كَانَ ثَلَاثَةٌ فِي سَفَرٍ فَلْيُؤَمِّرُوا أَحَدَهُمْ» قَالَ نَافِعٌ: فَقُلْنَا لِأَبِي سَلَمَةَ: فَأَنْتَ أَمِيرُنَا
