Text and translation

English translation

2626. It was reported from Nāfi' from 'Abdullāh, from the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ, that he said: "Hearing and obeying is obligatory upon the Muslim man, in what he likes and dislikes, as long as he is not ordered disobedience (to Allāh). And if he is ordered to disobey Allāh then he is not to hear nor obey." (Saḥīḥ)
