2663. It was reported from Ḥamzah bin Abī Usaid, from his father who said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said to us, when we made our rows for the battle of Badr: 'When they come near you, then shoot them with arrows, but do not use up all of your arrows.'" (Sāḥih)
٢٦٦٣ - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ الْغَسِيلِ، عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حِينَ اصْطَفَفْنَا يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ: " إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ - يَعْنِي: إِذَا غَشُوكُمْ - فَارْمُوهُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ وَاسْتَبْقُوا نَبْلَكُمْ "
