2685. Anas bin Mālik said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ entered Makkah in the Year of Conquest wearing a helmet (Mighfar) on his head. When he took it off, a man came and said to him: Ibn Khaṭal is clinging to the curtains of the Ka'bah. He said: 'Kill him.'" (Sahīh) Abū Dāwud said: Then name of Ibn Khaṭal is 'Abdullāh, and Abū Barzah Al-Aslami killed him.
2685 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ دَخَلَ مَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ وَعَلَى رَأْسِهِ الْمِغْفَرُ، فَلَمَّا نَزَعَهُ جَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: ابْنُ خَطَلٍ مُتَعَلِّقٌ بِأَسْتَارِ الْكَعْبَةِ فَقَالَ: «اقْتُلُوهُ» قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: «ابْنُ خَطَلٍ اسْمُهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، وَكَانَ أَبُو بَرْزَةَ الْأَسْلَمِيُّ قَتَلَهُ»
