English translation

2699. It was reported from Ibn Numair, from 'Ubaidullāh, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, who said that a horse of his fled away and was captured by the enemy. Then the Muslims were victorious over them, and it was returned back to him during the life-time of the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ; and a male slave of his ran away and joined the territory of the Romans. The Muslims were victorious over them and Khālid bin Al-Walīd returned him to him after the Prophet ﷺ.
