2706. It was reported from Al-Qāsim, the freed slave of ‘Abdur-Raḥmān, from some of the Companions of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: “We would eat from the Jazr during an expedition, and would not divide it until we were ready to come back to our dwellings. Then we would fill our saddlebags with it.” (Da’if)
2706 - حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحَارِثِ، أَنَّ ابْنَ حَرْشَفٍ الْأَزْدِيَّ حَدَّثَهُ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ مَوْلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: كُنَّا «نَأْكُلُ الْجَزَرَ فِي الْغَزْوِ وَلَا نَقْسِمُهُ حَتَّى إِنْ كُنَّا لَنَرْجِعُ إِلَى رِحَالِنَا، وَأَخْرِجَتُنَا مِنْهُ مُمْلَأَةٌ»
