Commentary

Injury to Abū Jahl was initially inflicted by Mu'ādḥ and Mu'awwadḥ (the sons of 'Afrā') and Mu'ādḥ bin 'Amr bin Jamūḥ. Then it was 'Abdullāḥ bin Mas'ūd who finished him off.
