2756. It was reported from Ibn 'Umar that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Indeed the treacherous person will have a banner planted for him on the Day of Judgment, and it will then be announced: 'This is treachery of so-and-so, son of so-and-so.'"[1] (Ṣaḥīḥ) [1] Similar preceded in a different narration (no. 2694) with the word Fai' instead of "your spoils" (Ghanā'imikum) as it is here.
2756 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْلَمَةَ الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الْغَادِرَ يُنْصَبُ لَهُ لِوَاءٌ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فَيُقَالُ: هَذِهِ غَدْرَةُ فُلَانِ بْنِ فُلَانٍ "

It means the person concerned shall be humiliated in this way and it will be announced that what he is getting is the punishment for his treachery.
