2827. It was reported from Abū Sa'eed, who said: "I asked the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ about the fetus. He replied: 'Eat it if you wish.'" — Musad-dad (one of the narrators) had it: "We said: 'O Messenger of Allāh ﷺ we perform Nahr (slaughter) a she-camel, a cow and a sheep, and we find a fetus in its womb. Do we throw it away or can we eat it?' He said: 'Eat it if you wish, for the slaughter of its mother serves as its slaughtering.'" (Saḥīḥ)
2827 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، عَنْ مُجَالِدٍ، عَنْ أَبِي الْوَدَّاكِ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْجَنِينِ فَقَالَ: «كُلُوهُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ». وَقَالَ مُسَدَّدٌ: قُلْنَا: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ نَنْحَرُ النَّاقَةَ، وَنَذْبَحُ الْبَقَرَةَ وَالشَّاةَ فَنَجِدُ فِي بَطْنِهَا الْجَنِينَ أَنُلْقِيهِ أَمْ نَأْكُلُهُ؟ قَالَ: «كُلُوهُ إِنْ شِئْتُمْ فَإِنَّ ذَكَاتَهُ ذَكَاةُ أُمِّهِ»
