2829. It was reported from Hishām bin 'Urwah, from his father, from 'Aishah, who said — and Hammād and Mālik (two of the narrators) did not mention: "from 'Aishah" — that they (the people) said: "O Messenger of Allāh! There are people here who are recent converts from Jāhiliyyah, and they bring us meat. We do not know whether the Name of Allāh has been mentioned upon it or not, can we eat from it?" The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: "Mention Allāh's Name and eat it." (Sahih)

Commentary
