2881. It was reported from 'Aishah that a woman said: "O Messenger of Allāh! My mother died suddenly, if it were not for that, she would have given in charity and donated. Will it suffice if I give charity on her behalf?" The Prophet ﷺ said: "Yes, give in charity on her behalf." (Sahih)
2881 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ هِشَامٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً قَالَتْ: يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أُمِّي افْتُلِتَتْ نَفْسُهَا، وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ لَتَصَدَّقَتْ وَأَعْطَتْ، أَفَيُجْزِئُ أَنْ أَتَصَدَّقَ عَنْهَا؟ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «نَعَمْ فَتَصَدَّقِي عَنْهَا»
