English translation

3134. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbās said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ ordered that the weapons, shields and furs[1] of the slain of Uhud be removed, and that they be buried with their blood on their garments." (Da'if)

Arabic text

3134 - حَدَّثَنَا زِيَادُ بْنُ أَيُّوبَ، وَعِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِقَتْلَى أُحُدٍ أَنْ يُنْزَعَ عَنْهُمُ الْحَدِيدُ وَالْجُلُودُ، وَأَنْ يُدْفَنُوا بِدِمَائِهِمْ وَثِيَابِهِمْ»
