3159. It was narrated from Al-Ḥuṣain bin Wahḥah that Talhah bin Al-Barā' fell ill, and the Prophet ﷺ came to visit him, and said: "I think that Talhah is dying. Tell me (when he dies) and hasten (the Janāzah), for it is not befitting for the body of a Muslim to be kept amidst his family." (Ḍa'if)
3159 - حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ مُطَرِّفٍ الرُّؤَاسِيُّ أَبُو سُفْيَانَ، وَأَحْمَدُ بْنُ جَنَابٍ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى - قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: هُوَ ابْنُ يُونُسَ - عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ الْبَلَوِيِّ، عَنْ عُرْوَةَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ الْحُصَيْنِ بْنِ وَحْوَحٍ، أَنَّ طَلْحَةَ بْنَ الْبَرَاءِ، مَرِضَ فَأَتَاهُ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَعُودُهُ، فَقَالَ: «إِنِّي لَا أَرَى طَلْحَةَ إِلَّا قَدْ حَدَثَ فِيهِ الْمَوْتُ فَآذِنُونِي بِهِ وَعَجِّلُوا فَإِنَّهُ، لَا يَنْبَغِي لِجِيفَةِ مُسْلِمٍ أَنْ تُحْبَسَ بَيْنَ ظَهْرَانَيْ أَهْلِهِ»
