3204. It was narrated from Abū Hurairah that the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ announced the death of An-Najāshī to the people on the day that he died, and he led them out to the Musalla and aligned them in rows, and said four Takbīr. (Sāḥih)
3204 - حَدَّثَنَا الْقَعْنَبِيُّ، قَالَ: قَرَأْتُ عَلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: «أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ نَعَى لِلنَّاسِ النَّجَاشِيَّ فِي الْيَوْمِ الَّذِي مَاتَ فِيهِ، وَخَرَجَ بِهِمْ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى، فَصَفَّ بِهِمْ، وَكَبَّرَ أَرْبَعَ تَكْبِيرَاتٍ»
