3213. It was narrated from Ibn 'Umar that when the deceased was placed in the grave, the Prophet ﷺ would say: "Bismillāh, wa 'alā sunnati rasūlillāh sall Allāhu 'alaihi wa sallam (In the Name of Allāh and in accordance with the Sunnah of the Messenger of Allāh (ﷺ))." This is the wording of Muslim. (Sahih)
3213 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ، ح وحَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الصِّدِّيقِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم، َ كَانَ إِذَا وَضَعَ الْمَيِّتَ فِي الْقَبْرِ قَالَ: «بِسْمِ اللَّهِ وَعَلَى سُنَّةِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ»، هَذَا لَفْظُ مُسْلِمٍ
