English translation
3224. (Another chain) from Yazid bin Abī Ḥabīb, with this Hadith. He said: "The Prophet ﷺ offered the funeral prayer for the slain of Uhud eight years later, as if bidding farewell to the living and the dead. (Sahih)"

3224 - حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، عَنْ حَيْوَةَ بْنِ شُرَيْحٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ - بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ - قَالَ: «إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ صَلَّى عَلَى قَتْلَى أُحُدٍ بَعْدَ ثَمَانِي سِنِينَ كَالْمُوَدِّعِ لِلْأَحْيَاءِ وَالْأَمْوَاتِ»
