English translation

3246. Jābir bin 'Abdullāh said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'No one swears a false oath by this Minbar of mine, even if it is concerning a green (fresh) Siwāk, but he will take his place in the Fire," or; "The Fire will be certain for him." (Sahih)

Arabic text

3246 - حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ هَاشِمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ نِسْطَاسٍ، مِنْ آلِ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الصَّلْتِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «لَا يَحْلِفُ أَحَدٌ عِنْدَ مِنْبَرِي هَذَا، عَلَى يَمِينٍ آثِمَةٍ، وَلَوْ عَلَى سِوَاكٍ أَخْضَرَ، إِلَّا تَبَوَّأَ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ - أَوْ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ النَّارُ -»
