Text and translation

English translation

3330. It was narrated from Zakariyyā, from 'Āmir Ash-Sha'bi who said: "I heard An-Nu'mān bin Bashīr saying: 'I heard the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ say...' this Hadīth (meaning no. 3329). He said: "...and between the two of them there are doubtful matters about which not many people know. Thus he who avoids the doubtful matters, he will have protected his religion and his honor, but he who falls into the doubtful matters will fall into that which is (clearly) unlawful.” (Sāhīh)
