English translation

3455. It was narrated from Hammād, from Ayyūb, from Nāfi', from Ibn 'Umar, from the Prophet ﷺ. He said: "...Or one of them says to his companion: 'Choose.'" (Sahīh)

Arabic text

3455 - حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَعْنَاهُ، قَالَ: " أَوْ يَقُولُ أَحَدُهُمَا لِصَاحِبِهِ: اخْتَرْ "
