Text and translation

English translation

3528. It was narrated from Ibrāhīn, from 'Umārah bin 'Umai, from his paternal aunt, that she asked 'Aishah: "I have an orphan in my care; can I take from his wealth?" She said: "The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said: 'Among the purest of that which a man consumes is what he earns (by his own efforts), and his son is part of that which he earns.'" (Sahih)
