Text and translation

English translation

3530. It was narrated from 'Amr bin Shu'āib, from his father, from his grandfather, that a man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Messenger of Allāh, I have wealth and children, and my father is in need of my wealth." He said: "You and your wealth belong to your father. Your children are among the purest of your earnings, so you may take from your children's earnings." (Hasan)
