English translation

355. Qais bin Āšim narrated: "I came to the Prophet ﷺ, desiring (to accept) Islam. So he commanded me to perform Ghusl with water and Sidr." (Ṣaḥīḥ)

Arabic text

355 - حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَغَرُّ، عَنْ خَلِيفَةَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ قَيْسِ بْنِ عَاصِمٍ قَالَ: «أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أُرِيدُ الْإِسْلَامَ فَأَمَرَنِي أَنْ أَغْتَسِلَ بِمَاءٍ وَسِدْرٍ»
