3672. It was narrated that Ibn 'Abbās said: "(The Verses) O you who believe! Approach not Salāt (the prayer) while you are intoxicated"[1] and; They ask you concerning Khamr and gambling. Say: "In them is a great sin, and (some) benefits for men."[2] were abrogated by the verse that is in (Sūrat Al-Mā'idah): "O you who believe! Khamr, and gambling, and Al-Ansāb (stone altars for sacrifices to idols etc.)"[3] (Hasan)
3672 - حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَرْوَزِيِّ، حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُسَيْنٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ النَّحْوِيِّ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: قَالَ: " {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَقْرَبُوا الصَّلَاةَ وَأَنْتُمْ سُكَارَى} [النساء: 43] وَ {يَسْأَلُونَكَ عَنِ الْخَمْرِ وَالْمَيْسِرِ قُلْ فِيهِمَا إِثْمٌ كَبِيرٌ وَمَنَافِعُ لِلنَّاسِ} [البقرة: 219] نَسَخَتْهُمَا الَّتِي فِي الْمَائِدَةِ {إِنَّمَا الْخَمْرُ وَالْمَيْسِرُ وَالْأَنْصَابُ} [المائدة: 90] الْآيَةَ "
