3699. It was narrated from Sālim bin Abī Al-Ja'd, from Jābir bin 'Abdullāh who said: "When the Messenger of Allāh ﷺ forbade (certain types of) vessels (for making Nabīdh), the Anṣār said: 'We have no other choice.' He said: 'No then.'"[1] (Saḥīh)
3699 - حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، حَدَّثَنِي مَنْصُورٌ، عَنْ سَالِمِ بْنِ أَبِي الْجَعْدِ، عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، قَالَ: لَمَّا نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْأَوْعِيَةِ، قَالَ: قَالَتْ: الْأَنْصَارُ: إِنَّهُ لَا بُدَّ لَنَا قَالَ: «فَلَا إِذَنْ»
