37. This Hadīth (similar to no. 36) has also been reported with a different chain from Abū Sālim Al-Jaishānī from ‘Abdullāh bin ‘Amr, mentioning that, and he (Abū Sālim) was with him guarding the frontier at a fortress at the gate of Alyūn. (Ṣaḥīḥ) Abū Dāwūd said: The fortress of Alyūn is in Al-Fusṭāṭ on a mountain. Abū Dāwūd said: He (Shaibān) is Shaibān bin Umayyah, his Kunyah is Abū Hudhaifah.
37 - حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُفَضَّلٌ، عَنْ عَيَّاشٍ، أَنَّ شِيَيْمَ بْنَ بَيْتَانَ، أَخْبَرَهُ بِهَذَا الْحَدِيثِ أَيْضًا، عَنْ أَبِي سَالِمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، يَذْكُرُ ذَلِكَ وَهُوَ مَعَهُ مُرَابِطٌ بِحِصْنِ بَابِ أَلْيُونَ، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: «حِصْنُ أَلْيُونَ بِالْفِسْطَاطِ عَلَى جَبَلٍ»، قَالَ أَبُو دَاوُدَ: «وَهُوَ شَيْبَانُ بْنُ أُمَيَّةَ يُكْنَى أَبَا حُذَيْفَةَ»
